In one of its cruelest acts to date, Islamic State reportedly blew up a baby to show members how to handle explosives.

The incredible incident took place in Diyala Province on July 10, according to provincial Security Committee Chairman Sadiq el-Husseini. He detailed the event to the local Arabic-language A-Sumeriah News.

The baby’s father was apparently executed just weeks ago, after he allegedly took part in the killing of an Islamic State member.

“The organization booby trapped the baby in front of dozens of armed ISIS men and then detonated it from afar,” Sadiq el-Husseini said. The rigging of the baby and its detonation was a training exercise of ISIS to teach its people booby-trapping techniques.

There were 30,000 slave labor camps; 1,150 Jewish ghettos; 980 concentration camps; 1000 prisoner of war camps; 500 brothels filled with sex slaves; and thousands of other camps used for euthanizing the elderly and infirm, performing forced abortions, “Germanizing” prisoners or transporting victims to killing centers.

The best estimate using current information available is 15 to 20 million people who died or were imprisoned in sites controlled by the Germans throughout the European continent.

Robots these days can play the violin, send us Amazon packages, even adapt if they get hurt. Now, one of them can slice us all to bits.

Yasawa Electric Corporation recently tracked the movements of Isao Machii, a renowned Japanese swordsman, and taught a robot called Motoman-MH24 how to mimic his use of a katana (also known as a scary Japanese sword). In a video released by the robotics company, the sword-wielding robot can be seen slicing through flowers and fruit with ease and precision. He even battles Machii, who holds several world records and has sliced through a fried shrimp hurtling towards him at 80 m.p.h., in a 1,000-cut challenge.

Hopefully, Yasawa’s next project is a robot that’s really good at dulling swords so it can protect all of humanity.
